The new service, Local Community Insurance Services will provide Public Liability and a range of insurance cover to non-profit organisations that: - Provide services to the broader community,
- Have turn over/funding up to $5m per annum,
- Do not distribute profit to members,
- Consist mainly of volunteers,
- Provide a public benefit or serve a charitable purpose.
Insurance covers include:
- Public Liability
- Associations and officials liability
- Personal accident - volunteer worker insurance
- Business Pack
The service is internet based and community groups can obtain a quote online at www.localcommunityinsurance.com.au
