Maps are available for download below to view Storm Tide Mapping for the Whitsunday Region.

The Queensland Local Government Storm Tide Mapping Project is funded under the Commonwealth Department of Transport and Regional Services' Natural Disaster Mitigation Programme. The emergency management maps have been produced in accordance with the National Storm Tide Mapping Model for Emergency Response (Department of Emergency Services, Queensland & Emergency Management Australia, Commonwealth).

The financial and in-kind support for the project provided by the following organisations is acknowledged:

  • Department of Emergency Services, Queensland
  • Department of Transport and Regional Services, Commonwealth
  • Bureau of Meteorology, Commonwealth
  • Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Queensland
