Bowen Cultural & Seafood FestivalLocation: Bowen Front Beach

Description: Come and celebrate the opening of the redeveloped Bowen Foreshore at the Bowen Cultural & Seafood Festival. The day's activities include:

  • 10.00 am - Skate Park (Fun-filled morning for the kids)
  • 3.00 pm - Dalrymple Soundshell (Bowen seafood delights and great music)
  • 6.15 pm - Official Opening
  • 7.00 pm - Dalrymple Soundshell (Bowen Sing Sing - World-class South Sea Island concert)

Location: BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort, 25-29 Shute Harbour Rd.

Description: Come Camp With BIG4 is a national event co-ordinated by BIG4 to encourage families to experience or rediscover the fun of a night spent in the Great Outdoors and under the stars by offering a free night on a powered or unpowered site.

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort is proudly participating again this year, 2008 saw 255 guests attend the event at BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort alone. They organise a host of activities for the weekend, this combined with their resort facilities it will be a weekend to remember!

Some of the events that will be organised are as follows - Egg and bacon brekky by the pool, Scavenger Hunt, Face Painting, Massages by the pool, Hair braiding, Raffles, Movie and pizza night, and much, much more.

It's your BIG chance to pack up the kids grab your tent and get something for nothing and Come Camp With BIG4!

Entry cost: Free for powered and unpowered sites.
