  1. Queensland Museum Regional Loans

    15 February, 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM @ Cannonvale Library

    The Cannonvale Library is a depot for Queensland Museum kits. Queensland Museum Loans kits contain museum specimens and artefacts with resources that support: • the Australian curriculum • early years learning • aged care • community displays. Kits include Aboriginal Science: Rainforest, Australia: Post and Communication, Cultural Celebrations: Feasts, Endangered Species, Nocturnal, Sustainable Living and Science Toys.   2. Library Play - Proserpine

    15 February, 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM @ Proserpine Library

    A First Five Forever session incorporating stories, songs, rhymes, puppets, music and activities for children aged 0-5 years.

  3. Tech Savvy Seniors Queensland - Introduction to Computers Training

    15 February, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ Bowen Library

    This session is for people who have never really used a computer before and might find them a little scary. Includes basic introduction to the keyboard and mouse. Free technology training session for seniors – Bookings essential

  4. Story Time - Cannonvale

    15 February, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Cannonvale Library

    A First 5 Forever session focusing on language and literacy development for children aged 3 to 5 years. A half hour of sharing stories, rhymes and songs, followed by a simple craft activity and social interaction.

    Activities will vary daily – may include Lego and other design and construction challenges, puppet theatre, window art, paper craft. For children 6 years and over. Bookings not required.
